New product introduction (NPI) project management
This methodology refers to the process of creating a new product, since the first idea and planning, to the product release and commercialization on the market.
NPI project management usually has 6 steps: ideation, definition of product, prototyping, design, testing, and manufacturing. The Minimum Viable Process framework is a common practice for this methodology: this means that each step of this process can be simplified and tested more than once, getting early feedback for continuous improvement.
